Access and Authorization

In order to use grid software you need to have a personal certificate. Also grid services (hosts) need a certificate to prove their identity. There are separate instruction pages for both types:

Grid middleware

Globus and UNICORE provides client and server tools to submit jobs and transfer files. Below is also guides for Java based clients for interactive login and file transfer.

• D-Grid users can submit jobs via UNICORE 5 to Linux cluster and DEISA users to HLRB2. If you are not participating in these projects and would like to use UNICORE, please send email to grid-support@lrz.de .
